The invention proposes a unit which is used, in particular, for delivering fuel from a storage tank to the internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle. The feed unit comprises an electric driving motor and a feed pump, the delivery element of the feed pump and the motor armature being rotatably mounted on an axle fixed to the frame. Arranged between the winding of the armature and the armature mounting is an insulating piece which has a catch that connects the motor armature rotationally to the pump rotor. In order to achieve a simplified construction of the unit, the catch is provided with a shoulder which faces the armature and to which a fixedly arranged countershoulder is assigned in the direction of the axis of rotation of the rotating parts of the unit. <IMAGE>
