Method and receiver circuit arrangement for reproducing stereoscopic video signals in complementary colours

In this method, the difference between associated stereo signals is determined at the transmitter end and transmitted as displacement signal to the receiver. In the receiver, the second stereo luminance signal is formed from the first luminance signal in dependence on the displacement signal. Each of the two luminance signals is then reproduced in a complementary colour.
