PURPOSE:A detergent for the oral cavity, prepared by incorporating a detergent, containing a perfume, and used in the form of a liquid in application with an alpha- amino acid or a salt thereof, and capable of eliminating the bitterness of the perfume and improving the feeling of use. CONSTITUTION:A detergent for the oral cavity prepared by incorporating a detergent for the oral cavity containing 0.01-1wt%, based on the total detergent, perfume, e.g. l-menthol, eugenol or peppermint oil, in application, and used in the form of a liquid in the application with 0.001-10wt%, preferably 0.05- 5wt%, alpha-amino acid or a salt thereof. Alanine, tryptophan, glycine and L-valine are preferably used as the alpha-amino acid. |
