PURPOSE:To obtain a high-speed scanner of a small size and a low cost by such constitution wherein the exit light from plural semiconductor lasers are guided with optical fibers and plural scanning lines are scanned simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:The light emitted from plural semiconductor lasers are conducted by coupling lenses 4 provided to each of the lasers into optical fibers 5 which are arranged in a sub-scanning direction. The exit light thereof are made into a unidirectional beam by a cylindrical lens 6 and said beam is made incident to a hologram disc 1. The diffracted light forms a beam waist on a scanning plane P with an ftheta lens 7 and a cylindrical lens 8. As the disc 1 rotates, the scanning lines are simultaneously scanned by as much as the number of the fibers 5. The high-speed scanner of a small size and a low cost is thus obtd. |
