Transport container (1) mounted on rolling means and movable in a horizontal plane with a transport container base (2) and parallel runners (9, 10), characterised in that the rolling means consist of steering wheels (3, 3') and travelling wheels (4, 4'), in that further parallel runners (11, 12) are arranged to permit transport on runners in two mutually perpendicular directions, these further runners (11, 12) forming a supporting frame with the runners (9, 10) having a differing height, such that the projections of the imaginary extensions of the respective pairs of runners (9, 10 and 11, 12) cut at right angles in a plane, in that the steering and travelling wheels (3, 3' and 4, 4') are arranged within the supporting frame in top plan view, and in that one pair of runners is vertically adjustable and extendable beyond the contact surfaces of the steering and travelling wheels (3, 3' and 4, 4') with the base support. |
