PURPOSE:To obtain the titled toner superior in offset resistance and having a wide fixable temp. range, by incorporating a >=2 valent metallic org. compd. and a specified nonlinear low m.p. polyester. CONSTITUTION:A binder resin (A) made of nonlinear low m.p. polyester having 50-80 deg.C glass transition point, 60-130 deg.C softening point, and 10-60 acid value is obtained by reacting acid components consisting of (a) 10-25wt% succinic acid (anhydride) substd. by 6-18C alkyl, (b) 10-30wt. >=3-valent polycarboxylic acid, such as trimellitic acid, and/or >=3-valent polyol, such as sorbitol, and (c) >=50mol% aromatic carboxylic acid, such as terephthalic acid, with (d) etherified diphenols. Then, the component (A) and 0.2-4wt% >=2-valent metallic org. comd., such as calcium acetate, and when needed, together with colorant, fine magnetic particles, etc., and finely pulverized. |
