The invention relates to a rotary piston machine with rotary piston eccentrically supported in a housing, which piston has vanes distributed on the circumference and interacting with the inner wall of the housing. In such a machine the aim is to solve the sealing problems and to achieve functional reliability for a low construction cost. In addition the rotary piston machine is to be versatile in its uses. This is achieved in that in the rotary piston (1) rollers (6) are pivotably mounted, the longitudinal axes of which run parallel to the axis (Z2 or Z4) of the rotary piston shaft (2) and these rollers (6) accommodate the vanes (7) in slots (14) free from play and the vanes (7), adapted in their outer areas to the radius of curvature of the housing inner wall (5) are in addition held radially aligned on the axis (Z1) of the housing (4). <IMAGE>
