<p>Polyolefinic compounds, useful in the treatment of psoriasis, are disclosed. The compounds are represented by the general formula
<Chemistry id="chema01" num="0001"><Image id="ia01" he="27" wi="112" file="IMGA0001.TIF" imgContent="chem" imgFormat="TIFF" inline="no" /></Chemistry>in which R and R, are each hydrogen or an alkyl group of from 1 to 5 carbon atoms; R<Sub>2</Sub> is an alkyl group of from 1 to 5 carbon atoms; R<Sub>3</Sub> is hydroxyl, alkoxy of from 1 to 5 carbon atoms, NH<Sub>2</Sub>,NHR<Sub>2</Sub> or NR<Sub>2</Sub>R<Sub>2</Sub> and Z is a cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl or cycloalkdienyl group substituted with from 0 to 5 alkyl groups, a keto group or a hydroxyl group or a phenyl group substituted with from 0 to 4 hydroxy, alkoxy, alkyl or trifluoromethyl groups or halogen atoms or combinations thereof and the pharmaceutically-acceptable salts thereof.</p><p>The foregoing compounds have been found to be effective in the treatment of psoriasis.</p> |
