The metering unit is intended for periodically feeding dry granular material to fish in a tank. It comprises a trough-shaped receptacle (1) contg. a horizontal transport worm (6) in its lower end leading to an outlet opening (7). The worm is periodically driven and a shaker in the trough is actuated by the worm via a projection (16) on the rod to prevent bridging of the material. - The shaker rod pref. extends parallel to and above the worm and has one upward end held at one side wall (10) by a covered pivot (17). The other end is pivotably coupled (19) to the spring (22) at the opposite side wall (24).(1/2) |
