<p>A facing fabric 14, for facing teeth of a timing belt 17, which comprises a woven mesh of bulked weft threads 15 and warp threads 16 of partially orientated yarn. The fabric has ideal stretch properties, the soft and fluffy nature of the weft threads 15 protecting the warp threads 16 from excessive wear and providing a cushioning effect for the belt to reduce its noise generation during its operation.</p> |
