PURPOSE:To enable the use of the brain of a food animal such as cattle, as a nutrient assistant food, by freeze-drying and pulverizing the brain, and storing the product in the form of powder or pellets e.g. in a freezer. CONSTITUTION:The brain of a food animal such as cattle, pig, etc. is dried by freeze-drying or other method, and the product is pulverized. The powder is if necessary pelletized (e.g. in the form of tablets), and served for food or for pharmaceutical use. To prevent the degradation of the product, it is desirable to store by freezing, or in a completely dry state, or in a state kept from air (coating a tablet with a film or sugar, or putting the powder into a soft capsule). It can be used practically as a nutrient assistant food or as a drug as it is or by mixing with other food such as green tea, etc., or various vitamins, minerals, etc. |
