PURPOSE:To attain the light pressing operation of an operating shaft and to miniaturize the tuner, by constituting that a slight pressing stroke of the operating shaft moves largely the channel selecting shaft. CONSTITUTION:A support frame 7 of a push button tuner is provided with a pair of channel selecting shafts 11, 11' having the operating shaft 1 and channel selecting frames 18a, 18'a positioned at the left and right side of the shaft 1 and moved back and forth with screws 13, 13'. Either one shaft 1 is moved forward, the forwarding state is kept and a variable tuning element is varied via an operating plate butted to the channel selecting frames 18a, 18'a. The pressing stroke of the shaft 1 of the tuner is extended with an extending mechanism comprising an interlocking piece 4 and follower gears 20, 20' and the like. Further, the shaft 1 is switched at each back and forth movement with a switching mechanism 34, allowing the forward movement of one positioned left/right and back/forth and to block the forward movement of the other. Then, the channel selecting shafts 11, 11' are moved largely with a slight pressing stroke, allowing to obtain the light pressing operation of the shaft 1 and to miniaturize the tuner. |
