<p>The materials, especially foundry mould materials, are compressed by gas pressure, a housing to receive a gaseous medium being arranged over a mould box unit. An additional space is provided within this housing, and has an edge region formed with an elastomeric material. If the working pressure is set up in the additional space, the overstrain forms a sealed closure between the housing and the mould unit. If the pressure in the additional space is removed, a passage between the housing and the mould unit is released and the mould material is compressed by the pressure surge.</p> |
