<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an output of detection signal for detecting DC field distortion by providing discontinuous part which generates leakage flux in the course of the closed magnetic path of iron core and by providing a field distortion detection coil in such a way as surrounding the closed magnetic path from the outside, in a transformer wherein a plurality of windings are wound to the iron core of closed magnetic path. CONSTITUTION:At the discontinuous part of a center leg 101, a leakage flux phir1 is generated, while at the discontinuous part of the side legs 102 and 103, a leakage flux phir2 is generated in the opposite direction to the leakage flux phir1. Thereby, a magnetic flux passing the inside of field distortion detection coil 113 can be obtained as the combined sum of vector. This magnetic flux alternates at a frequency of AC curent flowing through the winding 110-112 and thereby a voltage is induced to the field distortion detection coil 113. If magnetic flux circulating the iron core 1 is inbalanced, socalled DC field distortion occurs, magnetic flux crossing the detection coil 113 increases and an induced voltage becomes high. In this case, waveform of induced voltage is much distorted. By detecting increase of output of detection coil or distortion of output waveform, generation of field distortion can be detected.</p> |
