摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent the r.p.m. of a turbocharger from reducing excessively and to improve the response property of an engine when the engine is re-accelerated, by a method wherein a means for holding the opening degree of a throttle valve on the outlet side of a compressor at the time of deceleration of the engine during the supercharging operation is provided. CONSTITUTION:In the case of an internal combustion engine attached with a turbocharger, a throttle valve 40 linked to the treading operation on an acceleration pedal is provided with an air intake passage 3 on the output side of the compressor of the turbocharger. In this case, a throttle holder 50 is provided for the throttle valve 40. The holder 50 is constructed in the form of a diaphragm actuator provided with a pressure chamber 51 and an open air chamber 52 which are made to communicate selectively with the atmosphere or a sealed section through a negative pressure changeover valve 60. Further, when the engine is decelerated at the time of releasing the acceleration pedal, the negative pressure changeover valve 60 is switched to the pressure side and a rod 55 is moved to the right through a diaphragm 53 to thereby regulate the closing position of the throttle valve 40 which is formed integral with a lever 41.</p>
