PURPOSE:To improve remarkably welding work efficiency, by making the welding torch center conform with the start end of a weld line, executing the welding by aligning an indicator with the final end of the weld line, and returning the torch automatically to the start end when it reaches the final end. CONSTITUTION:The center of a welding torch 23 is aligned with an upper side base end 51a of a linear weld line 51 by a holding body 20, and it is fixed onto a slide piece 13 by a dog 30. Also, a fitting body 25 is moved, an indicator 27 is made to conform with a lower side final end 51b of the linear weld line 51, and it is fixed onto a connecting lever 28 by a screw 31. A reversible motor 15 is started, the slide piece 13, the holding body 20 and the torch 23 are moved along the linear weld line 51 indexed by the indicator 27, through a chain 18, and welding is executed. When the torch 23 approaches the final end 51b, the holding body 20 butts with the fitting body 25 of the indicator 27, and the indicator 27 and the movable connecting lever 28. When it is further moved by a prescribed distance, a switch 35 changes the pole, the reversible motor 15 rotates in reverse, supply of an electric current to the torch 23 and supply of a welding wire rod 24 are halted, and the torch 23, etc. are changed for lifting. |
