PURPOSE:To attain ease of the detection of a failure on the spot and a shipping inspection at manufacturing by incorporating the function of adjustment and the test to the titled device in advance, and switching the function with the conventional facsimile communication function with a simple operation. CONSTITUTION:An operating panel for adjustment and test is provided at the back side of the device in addition to an operation panel for facsimile communication. At the adjustment and test, a telephone set hooks on with the operation of a telephone key 4 on the panel 1 to close the test switch so as to attain the adjustment and test state. In the state of the adjustment and test, the transmitting and receiving state of the test signals including various tonal signals and 3-minute and 6-minute mode phase signals is repeated alternately under the preset test condition and an operating display lamp (transmission display lamp 8 and receiving display lamp 9 and the like) is lighted or turned off in response to the transmission/interruption and receiving state of each signal. |
