PURPOSE:To obtain a phototrigger thyristor package which has a reliable hermetically sealing structure by coaxially opening two bores in which the outer diameters of external and internal light guide sleeves coincide from both sides of a receptor and employing a receptor in which a sapphire plate is hermetically sealed by soldering at the step. CONSTITUTION:A hole 15a which is equal to or slightly larger than an internal light guide 6 is opened at the inner surface side of an element of a receptor 15, and a hole 15b is opened in the same diameter as the profile of an external light guide sleeve 8. The receptor 15 is hermetically sealed to a package 4. The periphery is metallized, and a thin plate 12 of a sapphire which is mounted by a suitable method is disposed on the step between the holes 15a and 15b in the receptor 15. An adhesive 13 is used to secure the guide 6 to the receptor 15. The receptor 15 is preferably formed of nickel iron alloy or nickel chromium iron alloy which has relatively near thermal expansion coefficient of the package 4 or the plate 12. |
