Phenethyl derivatives of thiazole of the formula: <IMAGE> wherein n is 1 or 2 and R is a naphthyl radical, a phenyl radical or a phenyl radical carrying one or more substituents selected from C1-4 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, methylenedioxy and trifluoromethyl radicals and halogen atoms, are useful in therapy in the treatment of depression.
