PURPOSE:To enable fixing without using a heater and without applying large pressure and eliminate necessity of large power consumption and time for warming up by fixing an unfixed toner image on a sheet of paper giving supersonic oscillation. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of paper 5 on which a toner image 4 is transferred by the transferring section 2 of a photosensitive body 1 is sent to the nipping part of a supersonic wave sending roll 6 and a reflection pole roll 7. At this time, rotating force is transmitted to the reflection pole roll 7, and rollers 6, 7 are rotating, and at the same time, supersonic oscillation is given to the supersonic wave sending roll 6. When the unfixed toner image 4 on the paper 5 is bitten by the nipping part of two rollers 6, 7, oscillation energy is converted to thermal energy in a moment at the point where it is pressed by the two rollers 6, 7, that is, at contact part of the rollers 6, 7, and the toner image 4 is molten and thermally fixed on the paper 5. At this time, the reflection pole roll concentrates the oscillation energy to the molten part. |
