PURPOSE:To provide the titled resin compsn. which gives moldings having excellent plate adhesion etc., by blending an aliph. polyester resin and an epoxy compd. and/or an glycidyl group-contg. copolymer with an arom. polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:1-100pts.wt. aliph. polyester resin such as polybutylene terephthalate sebacate and 0.01-80pts.wt. epoxy compd. such as bisphenol A type epoxy compd. and/or glycidyl group-contg. olefin copolymer such as ethylene/ glycidyl methacrylate copolymer are blended with 100pts.wt. arom. polyester resin such as polyethylene terephthalate to obtain the desired platable polyester resin compsn. A molding obtd. from this compsn. is treated with an alkaline soln. to roughen its surface and then plated, whereby a plated article having excellent mechanical properties, etc. can be obtd. |
