发明名称 MAGNETIC RECORDING COMPOSITION FOR FORMING THICK FILM
摘要 PURPOSE:To form a thick film having favorable adhesive properties and cracking resistance by applying screen printing with a selected screen as a coating means to regulate freely the thickness of a film to be formed in a single coating stage within the range of 10-200mum. CONSTITUTION:Solid matter is a magnetic recording composition is composed essentially of magnetic particles, epoxy resin, phenolic resin and polyvinyl butyral resin. The amount of the magnetic particles is <= about 70wt% of the amount of the solid matter. The weight ratio between the epoxy and phenolic resins and the polyvinyl butyral resin is about 2:1, and the weight ratio between the epoxy resin and the phenolic resin is about 7:3. The figures show a magnetic recording disk 5 in a coated state. The thickness of a film to be formed can be regulated freely within the range of 10-200mum, especially 50-200mum in accordance with reduction in output due to the gap between a magnetic detecting element 4 and a magnetic film 6.
