PURPOSE:To eliminate the variation of relative humidity in a heating chamber and enable to detect the variation of humidity due to only steam generated from food to be heated upon beginning of cooking by a method wherein electric power is supplied simultaneously to first heating source and second heating source. CONSTITUTION:When a start signal is inputted, a whole heating time control circuit 19 begins the control thereof and outputs a driving signal for a main circuit relay 20. According to this operation, the electric power is supplied to a fan motor 9, a heater 17 and a magnetron 8. According to this constitution, a food 7 to be heated is heated by high-frequency energy outputted from the magnetron 8, which is the first heating source, while the temperature in a heating chamber 6 is risen or maintained at the initial temperature by the heater 17, which is the second heating source. Accordingly, said temperature may be maintained or risen by supplying the electric power to the heater 17 in case the temperature in the heating chamber 6 is high upon beginning of cooking, therefore, the relative humidity will never be increased by the lowering of the temperature and only the variation of the relative humidity due to the generation of steam from the food to be heated may be detected. |
