PURPOSE:To facilitate eyeletting by pinching the start end of a web with two thin plate-like magnets while making it adsorbed to the curved face of a roller, etc. in an eyeleteer passing the web from a paper feed device of a wound paper rotary-printer to a folding machine. CONSTITUTION:The start end of a web 2 having passed through a drier 5 is inserted between upper and lower magnets 21, 22, one magnet 21 (or 22) is shifted in the axial direction of a holder 24 so that opposite poles are faced and adsorbed each other, thus the end section of the web 2 is firmly pinched between a pair of magnets 21, 22. Next, a handle 23 of an eyeleteer 20 pinching the web 2 is held with a hand, the magnet 22 is adsorbed to cooling rollers 13, 14, 15, 16 in sequence, the eyeleteer 20 is circulated together with the cooling roller while the web 2 is being held, thus the web 2 is guided to a folding machine 7. Then, one magnet is moved in the axial direction of the holder 24 so that the same poles are faced and a pair of magnets 21, 22 are repelled each other, and the pinching force of the web 2 is released. |
