PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform highly accurate, highly reliable measurement by simple adjustment, by using a V groove having an angle 2alpha as a reference, and making measuring points movable along lines F and F' in the direction of an angle theta having relationship sinalpha=tantheta with respect to a central line X of the V groove. CONSTITUTION:Symmetrical V groove members 1 and 2 with respect to a central line X (an intersecting angle 2alpha) are provided. Sliding surfaces are formed in the directions of lines F and F' having an angle theta with respect to the central line on the back surfaces of the members. Sliding members 3 and 4 are attached to the sliding surfaces. In measuring, a master piece is inserted and made to contact completely. An adjusting nut 7 is rotated and the positions of the sliding members 3 and 4 are adjusted and fixed on the sliding surfaces. Detectors 8 and 9 are placed at reference positions and contacted with the work piece. Then the measurement is performed. In this simple adjustment, the highly accurate, highly reliable measurement can be performed. |
