PURPOSE:To securely feed paper by supporting a feed roller shaft at a position where the driving force of the feed roller does not affect paper feed pressure acting on the paper on a paper feed bench. CONSTITUTION:A shaft supporting member for supporting the shaft 36 of a paper feed roller 27 is provided for said paper feed roller 27 so as to be followable to a most upper paper level, and the supporting point of a shaft supporting point and the supporting point 43 of the shaft are provided on said supporting member on a line along the direction of the resultant force between paper feed reaction oppositely acting on the roller to a feed paper roller 27 peripheral surface moving direction in a paper feed roller 27 tangential direction at a contact portion between the paper feed roller 27 and the paper and paper treating reaction acting on the roller in the opposite direction to roller peripheral surface moving direction in the paper feed roller 27 tangential direction at the contact position of the roller with a treating member 28. Accordingly, it is possible to feed paper regardless of the loadage of the paper. |
