PURPOSE:To improve operability and permit operation even in a shallow water region in a semi-underwater type oil well digging ship or the like by providing in the hull a hanging unit extending through a water sealing lid on an opening for attaching a thruster to vertically move the thruster body. CONSTITUTION:When a thruster body 1 hung in water by main hanging wires 9, 10 reaches a predetermined position, it is connected to a trolley 18 by sub- hanging wires 11, 12, dragged on a rail 8 by a guide wire 14, located right below a coupling flange 3 of a hull and connected to hanging fittings 6 by a hanging wire 15 so that both coupling flanges 2, 3 are connected to each other by a hydraulic jack 7. And the thruster body 1 is temporarily held by a fastening unit 21 and made water tight by an O-ring 23. Next, water in a water sealing lid 5 is extracted, the hydraulic jack 7 is released, the hanging wire 15 and the water sealing lid 5 are removed by an operator entering through an operation hole to attach fixedly both flanges 2, 3 with fixing bolts 24. |
