PURPOSE:To reduce energy required in recovering a solvent, by a method wherein the exhaust mixed gas from an adsorbing tower is introduced into an absorption type freezer and the heat thereof is used as the driving heat of the freezer while the cooling water of a condenser is cooled by the freezer. CONSTITUTION:During a time when the adsorption of a solvent is performed in an adsorbing tower 5a and the clean gas 7 from which the solvent is removed is discharged out of the system from the upper part of said tower 5a through a valve 8, desorption due to steam is performed in the other adsorbing tower 5b. This desorption is performed by sucking steam 9 with a high temp. (e.g., 100- 140 deg.C) into the adsorbing tower 5b. The mixed gas 10 with a temp. of about 100 deg.C consisting of the solvent and steam desorbed from an adsorbent is passed through a valve 11 and an absorption type freezer 20 to be sent to a condenser 40. The heat possessed by said high temp. mixed gas 10 is utilized as the heat source of the freezer 20 to be imparted thereto as the driving heat thereof and the gas cooled to about 40-50 deg.C is led out of the freezer 20.
|
