PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance of a low-temperature tank and enhance safety, by a method wherein a plurality of partition plates are fixed to the outside surface of a side wall of a tank or the inside surface of a liquid-stop levee, and vent openings are provided at an upper part of the levee. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of partition plates 15 extending vertically or slantly are fixed to the outside surface of the side wall 8 of a tank or the inside surface of a liquid-stop levee 9, and vent openings 11 are provided at the upper part of the levee 9. Since natural air current introduced through the openings 14 are directed to a lower part of an annular space 10 by the partition plates 15, effect of ventilation by the natural air current can be enhanced, and as a result, a forcible ventilator required in a conventional system is unnecessitated, an energy-conserving effect is produced, the maintenance of the tank is facilitated, and safety is enhanced. |
