<p>Phthalocyanine dyes (I), have, as free acids, the formula: where FTC is the Cu phthalocyanine radical, a is an alkylene gp, pref. 2-4C, R is H, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C hydroxyalkyl, pref. beta-hydroxyethyl, possibly the beta-(beta-hydroxyethylamino)ethyl gp., or an aryl gp. possibly substd. with alkyl, alkoxy, COOH and/or SO3H gps., R1 and R2 are H, 1-4C alkyl and/or 1-4C hydroxyalkyl, X is SO3H, 1-3C alkoxy, phenyloxy, naphthyloxy, Cl, amino, alkylamino, phenylamino or naphthylamino, a = 0-2, b = 0.5-1.5 and c = 1-3, and a+b+c is not >4. Better shades, higher fixation and greater fastness are achieved.</p> |
