PURPOSE:To divide a detected signal into numbers of signals and to display them by equipping a signal dividing device with the 1st and the 2nd latch circuits which hold the output of a counter and the output of an analog comparator, and processing their output signals through an arithmetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:Signals C1 (C2) and D1 (D2) shaped into rectangular waves are outputted to an addition/subtraction direction discriminating circuit 101 and a couple of the 2nd latch circuits 201 and 204. The directions of the signals C1 (C2) and D1 (D2) are discriminated by the discriminating circuit 101. Two output signals of the discriminating circuit 101 are sent to a couple of the 1st latch circuits 202 and 203 through counters 102 and 103. The arithmetic circuit 205 outputs a latch signal to the 1st latch circuits 202 and 203 and the 2nd latch circuits 201 and 204 at the same time to hold a value in each latch circuit, and inputs an unchangeable stable value to perform necessary processing to output the 1/4 division value to a display device 14. Consequently, the output of a wrong calculation result is prevented. |
