PURPOSE:To enable to replace a valve body without disassembling a casing, by a method wherein a flange part is provided on the upstream side of a main body of a valve so that a frame body to be engaged with the flange part and the main body of the valve can be inserted into a casing through a downstream- side opening and can be fixed to the casing. CONSTITUTION:The main body 2 of a valve is provided with flange parts 4, 5, and a partition wall 20 having a penetrating hole 19 is provided in the interior of the main body 2. On the other hand, the frame body 6 is provided with a ring 7 at one end thereof and with a flange 8 (which is provided with an annular rib 9) at the other end thereof, and is integrated by a connecting piece 14 and connecting rods 13. The main body 2 is fitted into a hollow part 15 of the casing 13, with the flange part 4 fitted to the ring 7 and the flange part 5 fitted to the annular rib 9. In this case, the flange part 4 is closely engaged to a cylindrically curved inside surface 11, while the flange part 5 is fixed by being pressed into a recessed groove 16 provided on the inside of the lower end of the hollow part 15. As a ball 17 is moved upward or downward, a shaft part 18 is moved forward or backward to press or release the main body 2 of the valve, thereby closing or opening a passage. |
