PURPOSE:To permit the doubling of the number of types implanted in the similar volume as well as the utilization of types arranged on both faces by a method in which belt-like type holders having a softness are connected in Mobius stripe form, and types are arranged on both faces of the type holders. CONSTITUTION:Since a type holder 1 of rubber, etc., is connected in Mobius stripe form, the type holder transmission gear 3 is rotatably attached to a fitting plate 10 by biasing its angle 120 deg. each. When a drive transmission gear 6 is turned by a printing command, the type holder 1 is turned, and the desired type 2 of the type holder 1 reaches just before the printing hammer 4, an electromagnet 5 operates and the hammer 4 is struck through an ink ribbon 7 for printing. In this case, since the type holders 1 are connected in Mobius stripe form, the types 2 arranged on both faces are all passed through the front of the hammer 4 when the type holder 1 turns two rounds, and printing can be performed by using all the types. The doubling of the implanted type number can thus be attained. |
