发明名称 CONTINUOUS DESILICONIZATION METHOD OF MOLTEN IRON
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the contact efficiency of a desiliconizing agent and to improve slag discharging property by placing a spout cap on the down stream in the position on a molten iron spout where the desiliconizing agent is to be added and pressing the desiliconizing agent under the surface of the molten iron by the pressing wall of said cap. CONSTITUTION:The molten iron 13 tapped from a blast furnace is run into a molten iron spout 11, and a desiliconizing agent 14 is added thereto in a prescribed position. A spout cap 10 having a pressing wall 12 made of refractories is placed on the down stream side thereof in the longitudinal direction of the spout 11, and the agent 14 is pressed under the surface of the iron 13 by the wall 12. The contact stirring between the agent 14 and the iron 13 is effected and the foaming of desiliconization slag is suppressed. The intensification of the reaction and the retention of heat are attained by making use of a large amt. of the foam generated by the reaction between the agent 14 and the iron 13 according to the above-mentioned continuous desiliconization method, whereby the slag discharging property is improved.
