The invention is based on the object of providing an improved shower partition which no longer has a high stability and a multiple-part sliding door. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the shower partition has a free-standing corner profile running from the floor up to the ceiling of the bathroom, and in that a door leaf, which is preferably hinged to an adjacent wall of the bathroom, is attached to the corner profile.
