The invention deals with a board which is placed on a table and, by means of holders which are located on the underside of the board, is fastened to the table so that part of the board projects beyond the edge of the table. So that the board can be adapted to tables of different size and can also be secured to the opposite side of the table, it is equipped with one or more arms slidable along the length of the board. One holder each is also located on the free end of the arms. The board part projecting beyond the edge of the table carries the jigsaw, which is fastened from below and the saw blade of which projects vertically upwards through a hole in the board. <IMAGE>
