Novel anilides, process for their preparation and their use

Novel anilides of the formula <IMAGE> in which R<1> denotes a halogen atom and R<2> denotes a hydrogen atom, an alkyl radical having 1 to 3 C atoms or a cycloalkyl radical having 3 to 6 C atoms in the ring, a process for their preparation and a process for their conversion into corresponding anilides, which carry a 3-cyano-2-methylpropionyl radical in the para-position to the amide group. These nitriles are intermediates for the preparation of pharmacologically active 4,5-dihydro-3(2H)-pyridazinones.
