PURPOSE:To reduce the connecting time, by using a calling system which is unconditionally decided in response to the identification number. CONSTITUTION:An exchange 1 receives the subscriber number of the remote side based on an originating request fed from an originating subscriber and then reads out a call signal table 2 contained in the exchange 1 with the received subscriber number of the remote side. The table 2 stores both communication terminal number and call number for each subscriber number. For instance, the audio signal showing the name of a subscriber in voices is coded and stored in the table 2 for a call signal. Then a synthetic voice signal corresponding to the subscriber of the remote side is produced based on the read-out call signal. At the same time, a communication terminal 3 read out simultaneously is caught by the corresponding number. Then the synthetic voice signal is transmitted to a subscriber line 4 to call out the subscriber name. It is also possible to call a number by a visual system in addition to an audible signal. |
