PURPOSE:To control accurately the amount of a mixed stock to be introduced into a water tank, by means of a water flow rate controller provided in a flow path of the mixed stock to the water tank. CONSTITUTION:A mixed stock in a mixing tank 2 is dropped in a stepped bottom of a cascade 4 by a pump (P), and introduced into a receiving measure 5. Water is always overflown therefrom to the side of a water receiver 7 to keep the constant water level and returned to the mixing tank 2. The mixed stock in the receiving measure 5 is made to flow in a space (a) divided by plate materials (6a') and (6a') of a water flow rate controller 6 and both side plates (6b) and then delivered from the gap (t) to a sheet forming measure 9. Water flow rate controllers 6 left and right on both sides are rotated at the same speed, and the amount of the mixed stock to be introduced into the sheet forming measure 9 is completely the same. The mixed stock is dropped onto the stepped bottom of the sheet forming measure 9, dropped to a receiving tray 10 and then flowed into gently into a water tank 1. The pieces of laver in the mixed stock are formed into sheets continuously on an endless reed screen (M) to form beltlike laver sheets of completely the same thickness on the left and right sides. The resultant laver sheets are then conveyed to a dehydrating apparatus. The thickness of the laver sheets can be easily changed by adjusting the running speed of the endless reed screen (M) or rotational speed of a rotating body (6a). |
