<p>The expansion joint for a vertical sheet-metal conduit comprises bellows-type extensible corrugated rings. The maximum extension is limited by links of chains attached at the ends to abutments, with elongated holes and supported at the apices of the corrugations. The links (7,8,12) of the chains lie flat against each other. Their elongated holes accommodate hinge bolts (14) fixed to the apices of the rings (1).</p> |
