<p>PURPOSE:To improve the working performance by allowing a clamping device which is used when a fuel adapter as fuel pouring port is welded onto the inner surface of the side panel of an automobile to shift between the clamping position and unclamping position without generating the interference with the adapter. CONSTITUTION:When a fuel adapter W2 is setting-worked, a clamper 7 is stopped at an unclamping position A, and the cramp pin 5a of each clamping member 5 is set at the (a) point at the left of a center shaft 5b. After the adapter W2 is set, the clamping member 5 is turned counterclockwise, and the clamper 7 is allowed to pass through a fuel pipe installation hole W2a, and allowed to perform the circular movement passing through the positions B and C, and shifted in the upwardly right direction, and when the pin 5a reaches the (d) point, the clamp member 5 is reached at the clamping position D in the contact with the outer side surface of the adapter bottom part W2b, and the adapter W2 is positioned and fixed. In this state, the adapter W2 is welded onto a side panel W1, and the clamper 7 is returned to the position A by reversing the clamping member 5.</p> |
