The invention relates to a microwave/microstrip/multi-conductor system, consisting of n parallel strip conductors (L1, L2, ... Ln) which have the length l and, if required, mutually different width dimensions (w1, w2, ... wn) and which, furthermore, are arranged, if required, at mutually different spacings (s1, s2, ... sn-1) on the top of a substrate whose bottom is provided with earth metallisation. The object of the invention is, in such multi-conductor systems, to achieve the electrical properties of ideal TEM multi-conductor systems as far as possible. This object is achieved according to the invention in that an earth multi-conductor system (A1 ... Am), consisting of m further parallel strip conductors, is arranged on the bottom of the substrate (S) and, if required, has different widths (b1 ... bm), in that these further strip conductors have approximately the length l and are connected in parallel at the ends, are at earth potential and are mutually isolated, or are isolated from the remaining earth metallisation, by gaps (g1, ... gm+1). <IMAGE>
