PURPOSE:To ensure an even level for photoelectric converting signals of a sensor with each wavelength light, by providing independent light sources of two different systems. CONSTITUTION:An original 18 containing color picture information on its lower surface is irradiated in a slit form from the lower side by an irradiating light source 19 containing a condensing cylindrical lens 20. At the same time, the intensive light is irradiated in a spot form to a limited range of the original 18 by another light source 21 containing a condenser lens part at its tip area to prevent diffusion of the quantity of light. The reflected light of the original 18 irradiated by both light sources 19 and 21 forms an image on the picture element surface of a sensor 6 through a lens 5. The sensor 6 contains reading picture elements for each color arranged in a row with a regular pitch interval. The light of the lens lamp 21 irradiates only the reading area 23 of a region (a) corresponding to a blue filter B. Then the even sensitivity is obtained by increasing the quantity of light at the area of a blue optical image having inferior sensitivity. |
