In a system for the laying and fixing of the heating pipes of surface heating systems, especially floor heating systems, there is formed by means of mutually intersecting bar parts a latticework which covers the laying surface in a rhombic pattern so as to match its existing size and/or shape. The bar parts are equipped over their length, at regular intervals, with orifices for the selective rotatable reception of pipe clips fixing the heating pipes. The system guarantees favourable transport and storage conditions for the constructional parts used, along with the simplest possible design, and allows a rapid and simple laying and mounting of the pipes.
