The device for massaging the human body by hachement comprises a basic frame in which an approximately vertical, oscillatingly pivotable mounting strip is located in which approximately horizontal brush beaters are arranged parallel to and at a distance from each other, which brush beaters are clamped on one side in the mounting strip. The mounting strip is arranged on one free arm of a two-armed curved lever which is pivotably mounted on the basic frame and whose other free arm rests against the outer circumference of a rotatingly driven cam disc under the spring load of a contact roll. The brush beaters act upon the massage region of the body of the individual at a rate of about 10-100 beats per minute.
