The pipe-testing device according to the invention contains a video camera (10) which can be introduced into the pipe (2) to be tested and rotated by at least 360 DEG , a deflecting mirror (12) which is arranged in front of the optical system (11) of the video camera (10) and is directed onto the region to be tested on the inner surface of the pipe, and an illuminating device (14), which can be rotated with the video camera (10), for illuminating the region to be tested. The pipe- testing device according to the invention permits accurate viewing and determination of the position of established defects in conjunction with ease of manipulation. <IMAGE>
