The invention relates to an arrangement for conveying solid materials, especially coal dust, to a despatching container under pressure, from which the solid material is continuously fed to a reactor operating under pressure, especially a coal-to-gas plant, with the solid material reaching the despatching container mounted on pressure cells (14) from a storage container (10) via a sluice receptacle and with shut-off elements and compensators arranged between the storage container and the sluice receptacle and between the sluice receptacle and the despatching container. The despatching container (13) connected to the sluice receptacle (11) via a flexible compensator (16) and a shut-off valve (15) arranged above the latter is mounted on bellows (12) which are evenly distributed over the whole of the despatching container (13) and which are under a pressure corresponding to the pressure inside the despatching container to offset the compensator reaction force exerted downwards onto the despatching container. The vertically connected bellows are connected to the interior of the despatching container (13) via a balancing line (19). <IMAGE>
