PURPOSE:To hold the performance of a linear step motor in the prescribed condition by a method wherein the surfaces of the cores of the linear step motor fixed on the ground and to act as the driving mechanism is cleaned by traveling of a carrying truck. CONSTITUTION:Electromagnetic force is generated between cores 12 on the primary side and the cores 20 on the secondary side by changing over in order supply of an exciting current to a winding part 14 provided in relation to the cores 12 on the primary side, and the carrying truck 1 travels along a rail 2. At this time, brushes 40 slide on the surfaces of the cores 20 on the secondary side smoothed by filling up groove parts 21 with fillers 30. Accordingly dust accumulated in a gap between the cores on the primary side and the secondary side is removed to be cleaned. |
