PURPOSE:To prevent loading operation under a condition where a small-sized cassette can be removed from an adaptor, by constituting the adaptor in such a way that the (un-)loading mechanism is kept locked unless the upper cover member of the small-sized cassette contained under a closed condition is closed. CONSTITUTION:A locking mechanism against a loading mechanism is composed of a stopper 51 and tying piece 52. The stopper 51 has an inclined surface 51a which cooperates with an upper hooked part 38 and a hooked part 51b which ties the projection 52a of a tying piece 52 at the lower part, and is forced to rotate in the clockwise direction by a torsion coil spring. Since the stopper 51 is not tied by the hooked part 38 and rotated in the clockwise direction and the hooked part 51b ties the projection 52a when a top cover 6 is opened, a link 15 is limited in the movement in the direction shown by an arrow X1 and locked and, therefore, an operating knob 7 cannot be rotated. In this way, malfunctions can be prevented. |
