PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of abnormal revolution in an engine, by comparing an ignition signal with a reference pulse, while limiting an ignition pulse in order to avoid exceeding the fixed speed. CONSTITUTION:With an ignition signal generated at a point 1, an electric current flows into the output side of an engine controller 2 and thereby current change is produced there, then this current change is caught as voltage change at a current-voltage transducer circuit 3, transmitting this changed signal to a counting circuit 4 and generating a reference pulse being set to a specified time range in advance at a reference pulse generator circuit 5, while this reference pulse and an ignition pulse are compared for judgement inside the counting circuit 4 and thus limited, then the ignition signal is transmitted to the base of a power transistor 8 via a switching circuit 6. The counting circuit 4 limits the ignition signal pulse being transmitted to an ignition coil 7 so as not to cause it frequency to exceed over the fixed number, thus the engine speed is limited in consequence in this way. |
